What is the future of solar? The future of solar will be based on the increases in efficiency, and technology to produce a consistently good product. As long as solar is less expensive than grid power, there will be a market for it. It is important that there continue to be incentives developed that promote local research and development, manufacturing, and deployment. The ancillary effects are increased and stable job growth, less reliance on fossil fuels, reduced carbon footprint, and an increase in savings for residential and commercial consumers. Who can then reinvest that savings into their businesses or their personal lives . Wouldn’t it be nice to take a vacation, or have additional investment money for the next 20 years paid for by energy savings ?
