Massachusetts is where solar started in the Northeast. It is a large and booming market and will continue to be so in the future. Massachusetts has done a great job of designing their their incentive programs with SREC 1 followed by SREC 2. The SREC 2 program ends in March of 2018. At that time the state will transition to a FIT program. The current value of the SREC II program is better than the FIT program. Homeowners who go solar before SREC 2 expires, will save on average of $5-8K more than those who go solar when the FIT program goes live. If you would like to maximize your energy savings, reach out to us for a solar savings quote. We can walk you through the process, and get your savings locked in before the incentives decrease. Have a sunny day!
